Privacy Policy
How AdminBeat collects, uses and protects information from visitors, clients and users of the websites and applications we build.
1.Introduction
AdminBeat ("AdminBeat," "we," "us," or "our") provides website development, e-commerce development, web application development, hosting and related digital services ("Services") to business clients. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website (adminbeat.example) and in the course of providing Services, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights available to you.
This Policy applies to visitors of our website, prospective clients who submit quote or contact forms, and individuals whose data we process on behalf of clients while building or maintaining their websites, stores and applications. By using our website or engaging our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
2.Information We Collect
Information you provide to us
- Contact and quote form data: name, company name, email address, phone number, project details and budget you submit through our Contact or Get a Free Quote forms.
- Client account and project data: billing details, project requirements, brand assets, login credentials for third-party services you grant us access to (e.g. hosting, domain registrar, payment gateway, analytics), and communications exchanged during a project.
- Payment information: invoicing details and, where applicable, payment card or bank information processed through our third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our own servers.
- Support requests: information you share when contacting us for maintenance, bug reports or technical support.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring URLs and timestamps, collected via server logs and analytics tools when you browse our website.
- Cookies and similar technologies: as described in Section 4.
3.How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to quote requests, proposals and general inquiries;
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain the websites, stores and applications we are engaged to build;
- Communicate with you about project status, invoices, renewals and support;
- Process payments and maintain accounting records;
- Improve our own website, services and internal processes;
- Send occasional service updates or marketing communications, which you may opt out of at any time (see Section 9); and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4.Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, understand how visitors use our site, and measure the performance of our pages. This may include:
- Essential cookies required for core site functionality (e.g. the mobile navigation menu);
- Analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) that help us understand traffic and page performance in aggregate; and
- Preference cookies that remember settings you've chosen.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our site. Where required by law, we display a cookie consent banner before non-essential cookies are set.
5.How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers who help us operate our business, such as hosting providers, payment processors, email and CRM tools, and analytics providers — each bound by their own confidentiality and data protection obligations;
- Sub-contractors or freelance specialists engaged on a specific project under confidentiality obligations equivalent to this Policy;
- Third-party platforms integrated into your project at your direction (e.g. a payment gateway or shipping API you asked us to connect for your store);
- Professional advisors such as accountants or legal counsel, where necessary; and
- Authorities or other parties where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.
6.Client Project Data
When we build or maintain a website, store or application for a client, we may be given access to that client's own end-user data (for example, customer records in a CRM, or shopper data in an e-commerce store) solely to perform the contracted work. In that context, AdminBeat acts as a data processor on behalf of the client, who remains the data controller responsible for their end users' data under applicable privacy law. We process such data only as instructed by the client, under the confidentiality terms of our Terms of Service and, where applicable, a signed Data Processing Agreement.
7.Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, including for the duration of an active project, any post-launch support period, and afterwards as required to meet legal, accounting or contractual obligations. Contact form submissions that do not lead to a project are generally retained for up to 24 months and then deleted or anonymized. You may request earlier deletion as described in Section 9.
8.Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, including access controls, encrypted connections (SSL/TLS) on our forms and client portals, and restricted internal access to client credentials. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. However, we are committed to safeguarding your digital data and regularly update our security measures to address emerging threats.
9.Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal or contractual retention requirements;
- Object to or restrict certain processing, including marketing communications;
- Request a portable copy of your data; and
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 14. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in each message. Residents of the European Economic Area, the UK or California may have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA respectively, and may lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.
10.International Data Transfers
AdminBeat and the third-party service providers we use may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we take steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection, such as relying on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards where required by law.
11.Children's Privacy
Our Services are directed at businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 16. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
12.Third-Party Links & Services
Our website and the projects we build may link to or integrate third-party websites, plugins and services (for example, payment gateways, social media, or mapping tools) that operate under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies separately.
13.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated "Last updated" date, and for material changes we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
